LOS PINOS DR

The main objective of the project is to maximize the perception of interior space in the social area of the residence, creating welcoming and functional environments for family and guests. The foyer of the house has been conceived from the idea of creating a cozy and

homelike atmosphere. A low ceiling height (in comparison to the rest of the social space, where it extends in height), provides a sense of protection and security upon entering the house aiming to feel safe at home. A full wall clad in wood serves a dual function: it conceals ample storage space, maintaining the tidy aesthetic of the space, and acts as a warm and organic visual element in contrast to the predominant white paint. Warm lighting complements this ambiance, adding a minimalist and comfortable hue to the space.

Then, the living Room, dining room, and open kitchen integrate seamlessly and continuously, creating a spacious and versatile environment for family and social gatherings. The foyer cabinet becomes the central element of this area, acting as a visual focal point that connects the different spaces. Its materiality and functional design make it a disruptive element within a predominantly white environment, providing additional storage and discreetly concealing kitchen appliances. This careful integration of elements allows for a smooth transition between the different functions of the space, fostering interaction and user comfort.

An exceptional feature of the remodeling is the addition of an expansive window alongside the kitchen and dining area, establishing a unique connection with the exterior garden and its tree. This deliberate integration of indoor and outdoor spaces enhances the living experience, allowing natural light to flood the interior and offering captivating views of the surrounding greenery.
